Red Basil

"Red Ruben" Lovely purple leaved basil, with strong aroma and purple leaves, making it ideal for salads and garnishes. If allowed to flower it makes a lovely short lived house plant with it's pale pink flowers, As it's an annual it won't last long after flowering, but you can make it last longer by removing the flowering stem that appear from the tips. Grows up to 45cm with the right care. It's not frost hardy so needs to be kept indoors once the weather turns cool.
